This afternoon at approximately 2:30 PM, Mahopac Falls Fire, EMS, and Carmel Police were dispatched the Hill Street for a single-car motor vehicle accident with reports of the vehicle being down an embankment.

Upon arrival of EMS and FD, the occupants had been able to self-extricate from the vehicle. Both occupants suffered minor injuries and were evaluated on scene but refused any further medical attention.

The road was temporarily closed while Stillwater Auto Body removed the vehicle from the embankment. Once the vehicle was removed, the road was reopened and Mahopac Falls Fire and EMS were back in service.
