At approximately 12:30 PM today, the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department & EMS, along with Carmel Police Department and Putnam County EMS, responded to a one-vehicle rollover with confirmed entrapment on Myrtle Avenue.
Lieutenant Kelly was first on the scene and confirmed that the driver was trapped inside the vehicle. Mahopac Falls Fire Department members successfully extricated the patient, who was then handed over to Mahopac Falls EMS. The patient was transported to Westchester Medical Center with Advanced Life Support (ALS) care.
Myrtle Avenue was temporarily closed in both directions while City Wide Towing removed the vehicle from the scene.
The Mahopac Falls VFD would like to thank all agencies involved for their swift response and coordinated efforts.
