The Ant Hill Mob had a busy start to the day. At approximately 9 am, Mahopac Falls VFD was requested with their marine unit to Mahopac’s Fire District for a reported fire on Petre Island.

Then, as units were returning to service at approximately 9:30 am, Mahopac Falls EMS was dispatched to Myrtle Avenue to assist Carmel Police with an unknown medical.

A little while later at approximately 9:55 am Mahopac Falls VFD, EMS, Carmel Police, and Empress Medics were dispatched to a two-car Motor Vehicle Accident with injuries on Route 6n near Parker Drive.

Upon arrival, Captain Ward took command and instructed incoming units to close the roads at the nearest intersections while EMS evaluated the patients. One patient went BLS to Hudson Valley Hospital and another patient Refused Medical Attention.

Units were back in service shortly thereafter.
