Yesterday at approximately 10:50 am, Mahopac Falls Fire & EMS, along with Carmel PD and Putnam County EMS were dispatched to Baldwin Place Rd in the area of Spring Drive for a single-vehicle Motor Vehicle Accident with reported entrapment.

Upon arrival of Carmel Police, they advised that there was no entrapment but there were 3 occupants that required medical attention. The occupants were evaluated and transported to Westchester Medical Center by Mahopac Falls EMS and Putnam County EMS.

Assistant Chief Meury took command of the scene and requested that the Mahopac Falls Fire Police closed the roads while the patients were being evaluated and Valley Towing arrived on the scene to remove the vehicle from the wooded area and Mahopac Falls Fire returned to service shortly after.
