| This morning, at approximately 1:40 AM, the Mahopac Falls Fire Department, along with Mahopac Falls EMS and Carmel PD, were dispatched to a single-car motor vehicle accident with a possible entrapment in the area of Nicholas Way.
Upon arrival, responders found the vehicle off the road with no entrapment. The driver of the vehicle was transported to a local hospital by Mahopac Falls EMS for evaluation.
Firefighters remained on the scene for approximately two hours to ensure the area was safe before returning to service.
