This morning at approximately 11am Mahopac Falls Fire was dispatched mutual aid to assist Mahopac Fire Department for wires down with a possible brush fire in the area of Croton Falls Road and Cole Road.

Mahopac FD closed the road at Strawberry Fields Road while Mahopac Falls FD assisted Carmel Police at Mud Pond Road.

With power cut off and the fire out, the roadway was opened to traffic. Mahopac Falls was back in service shortly after.
