| Tonight our members took advantage of the beautiful weather and conducted a search and recovery dive drill, led by Dive Captain Eaton.
The main objective of the drill was for our active dive team members to enter the waters in the Ossi Club and search for previously hidden cones. While our dive team members conducted their search, the other members of MFVFD and Deputy Neary from the Putnam County Sheriff's Department were able to practice their tendering skills.
Tender skills and experience are extremely important as the Tender is the main communication between the diver underwater and operations on land. During the warmer months, you will most likely spot our Dive Team training. As the only Dive Team in Putnam County, we pride ourselves on always being up to date on training and ready to respond. |
