Just before 7:00pm on Saturday evening, Mahopac Falls Fire, EMS and Fire Police, along with Officer Brian Smith, Carmel Police were dispatched to a one car into a pole motor vehicle accident on Hill St. between Bullet Hole Road and Hitchcock Hill Road. Fire Police closed the road and detoured traffic as EMS began to triage the patient. Asst. Chief Bob Trace took lead as Incident Command while Lt. Brian Ward took charge of Operations.

The car came to rest against a power pole, splitting it causing a call to go out for NYSE&G to respond. Carmel Police investigated the accident as fire crews disabled the power of the vehicle.
