| Today, members of the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department proudly participated in the Mahopac Middle School Health and Safety Fair.
Our members provided live demonstrations of both adult and infant CPR, giving students and staff the opportunity to learn lifesaving skills and understand the importance of quick action during emergencies. Hands-on education like this helps build confidence and awareness in our community, especially among our younger residents.
A major highlight of the day was our LUCAS device demonstration. The automated CPR device drew significant interest as attendees learned how it delivers consistent, high-quality chest compressions during cardiac emergencies and supports our crews in providing advanced lifesaving care.
We are grateful to Mahopac Middle School for inviting us to be part of this important event and for helping promote health, safety, and preparedness within our community. |
