UPDATE: This afternoon at just before 4pm, Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department, EMS and Carmel Police were dispatched to a structure fire on W Lake Blvd in the area of Rockledge Place. The quick actions of our dedicated firefighters, coupled with the assistance of vigilant neighbors, played a crucial role in containing the fire.

Deputy Chief 19 was the first to arrive on the scene, promptly confirming the presence of a fire. Shortly thereafter, 19-1-3 arrived and took command of the situation until 19-1-2 assumed command upon arrival.

Thanks to the prompt and efficient response, the fire was contained to the exterior of the residence, preventing further damage to the property. No injuries have been reported at this time.
