Just before 9am on Thursday, May 22nd, Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department was requested to respond to a structure fire on Fini Drive, Mahopac.

Units 19-1-3, 19-9-4, 19-9-5, 19-9-7, and 19-4-2 responded promptly to the scene, with additional MFVFD members remaining in the district to ensure continued coverage.

Upon arrival, MFVFD crews assisted with firefighting operations and ensured the safety of the scene. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

MFVFD units operated on scene for approximately three hours before returning to service.
