Last night, our members met at “the yard” to continue our Extrication Training series which was being taught by Captain Ward.

With the help of 2nd Assistant Chief Stasiak and Captain Johnson, Captain Ward simulated a 2 car motor vehicle accident with entrapment to replicate a real-life emergency, emphasizing the importance of swift and effective response strategies.

This scenario gave our members a great opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned over the past couple of weeks and it was impressive to see how far the members have come with the use of hydraulic tools and other equipment.

Each Wednesday night drill is an opportunity for ongoing improvements, allowing us all to refine our skills and to address a wide range of emergencies within our community.

Kudos to our members for their commitment during last night's drill! And a HUGE thank you to Valley Towing and JLJ Truck & Equipment Repair for allowing us to use their yard for these important trainings – we couldn’t do this without them!
