Last Sunday Mahopac Falls VFD hosted their annual Old Timers Breakfast.

For those of you who aren’t sure what an “Old Timer” is. It is a term of endearment we use to distinguish the men and women who have achieved life member status of 20 years in our department.

The tradition was started by Randy Tompkins and Dick Beska; the old timer breakfast has become a long standing and cherished tradition of our department. It’s one of the ways we say thank you to our own who have served and continue to serve our community for 20 years and over.
