Yesterday afternoon at approximately 3:30 pm Mahopac Falls Fire and EMS along with Putnam County EMS and Carmel PD were dispatched to the Lake Secor section of our fire district for a report of 2 patients with injuries from a fall after a scaffolding collapse.

19-1-1, Chief Trace was first to arrive on the scene and confirmed that there were two males with injuries and requested the town of Carmel building inspector to the scene.

Putnam County EMS requested the launch of the LifeNet helicopter for one of the patients.
That patient was transported by Mahopac Falls EMS to the landing zone at our firehouse on route 6n. The patient was then transported by LifeNet to Westchester Medical Center.

The second patient was transported by Putnam Valley EMS to Putnam Hospital Center.

Mahopac Falls Fire and EMS were back in service within the hour.
