This morning at 11:50am, Mahopac Falls Fire was dispatched to the Red Mills Baptist Church for a Fire Alarm Activation.

Upon arrival, Deputy Chief Sacher found a one and half story building with no smoke showing. Putnam County 911 advised him that the caller stated the alarm was set off from cooking.

Deputy Chief Sacher entered the building to confirm that the alarm was activated by burnt food. The alarm was reset and Mahopac Falls Fire was back in service at 12:01pm.
