A busy start to the weekend for the Falls. Today started off early for Mahopac Falls as we were requested mutual aid to Mahopac Fire Department with a Tanker and Manpower for a working structure fire. Crews operated on scene for about six hours before being released.

At around 7 P.M. we were toned out to a report of a brush fire behind a residence on Locust Hill. This was determined to be an open burn on Hill Street and was extinguished in approximately fifteen minutes.

Shortly after clearing the Hill Street scene, the Ant Hill Mob was requested to respond to an address on Myrtle Ave for a Chimney fire. Members worked for about one hour ensuring the fire was extinguished and there was no spread to the structure.

At approximately nine o’clock the 911 center activated our pagers for a reported rollover with entrapment and broken telephone pole on Secor Road. Once on-scene members worked to stabilize the vehicle and remove the single occupant from the motor vehicle into an awaiting ambulance.

We were assisted on all scenes by our friends in the Carmel Police Dept.
