MAHOPAC FALLS CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING

December 4, 2020

Event Description:

The annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony will be a VIRTUAL event this year due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The tree lighting, as well as, an exclusive interview with Santa will take place on December 4, 2020 and rather than the typical live audience, everyone can watch a livestream of the event online through the Mahopac Falls Vol. Fire Department Facebook page.

Despite the VIRTUAL lighting ceremony, people can still visit our Station 1 on Luccaro Lane (off of Route 6N) to view the lit tree and surrounding decorations throughout the month of December following the tree lighting.

Starting at 7 p.m. families can view the celebration live through our Facebook Event. Santa is scheduled to arrive for an exclusive interview at approximately 7:15 p.m. with a countdown to the Tree Lighting Ceremony to follow at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Instead of having kids sit on Santa’s lap, parents can send a question with their children’s name to info@mahopacfallsvfd.com or through a private message to the Mahopac Falls Vol. Fire Department Facebook Page.

The members of the Mahopac Falls Fire Dept. are looking forward to celebrating the tree lighting in person with our community next holiday season.

We wish everyone a safe and healthy holiday season for 2020.
