Early Morning Rollover

At approximately 7:50 AM this morning, the Mahopac Falls Fire Department, along with EMS, Carmel VAC, Carmel Police, and Putnam County Paramedics, responded to a report of a single-vehicle rollover motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Hill Street and Lakeside Road.

School Bus Safety Drill with Scouts from Troop 371

Last Wednesday, Mahopac Falls VFD held a vital School Bus Drill, with special participation from Scouts from Troop 371!
We had the opportunity to work with a 65-passenger school bus and a wheelchair-accessible van, both provided by Mahopac Central Schools. Our members demonstrated important emergency response procedures, focusing on the unique challenges involved in school bus rescues.

9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit Comes to Mahopac

This evening, members of Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department had the solemn honor of escorting the 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit from I-684 to Mahopac VFD Headquarters.
