This afternoon at approximately 4:01 PM, members of the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire on Ryan Court in Mahopac. 19-DC-19 was first on scene and arrived to find a fire on the rear deck that had extended into the structure.

This morning at approximately 6:30 AM, members of the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched for a reported two-car motor vehicle accident on Route 6N in the area of Green Lane and Pine Tree Lane.

Today, the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department Dive Team joined the Carmel Fire Department for a dive drill at School Beach.

These joint training exercises give our teams an opportunity to practice essential water rescue skills, work together, and stay prepared to respond when our community needs us.
