Mahopac Falls Fire Dept. was dispatched to a serious two, possibly three car accident on the Rt.6 end of Baldwin Place Rd. this evening. First arriving First Responders notified the Chief of the severity of the incident and requested that the helicopter be put on standby. House fire on Barrett Hill Rd.

Mahopac Falls Fire Dept. was dispatched after noon to the area of Barrett Hil Rd. and Varna Lane in the northern section of the fire district for a house fire reported by neighbors. Emptying both stations with a full response, Chief Jeff Boyle assumed Incident Command and immediately requested Putnam Valley FD FASTeam and Mahopac FD to the scene, Somers and Yorktown to standby ... Mahopac Falls Fire, EMS and Fire Police, two units from Carmel Police and a paramedic unit from EMStar were dispatched for a car into a tree at Archer and Wayacross roads today.
