How To Join

We are always looking for hard working and devoted members who wish to help the community in which they live or work. Do you have what it takes?

• Live in MFVFD Fire Protection District
• Hard Working
• Devoted
• Motivated
• Interested in fire fighting and/or ambulance
• Minimum of 100 points*
• Willingness to help people
• At least 16 years old

* Points are a way of measuring each persons activity. Any time the fire department meets officially either for incidents, standbys, meetings, training etc. it counts as a point. As a new member for your first 3 years you are required to make at least 100 points.

If you are still interested download the below application and hand deliver to a fire department member. You can call us at 845-628-4414 and schedule to meet with someone or you can find us at the firehouse Wednesday nights at 7:30pm or Sunday Mornings between 8-10am.
