On the afternoon of November 8th, Mahopac Falls Vol. Fire Dept was dispatched to a brush fire in the woods next to 53 Perch Drive in the fishbowl. Per the automatic mutual aid Mohegan Engine 253 was also dispatched with Mohegan Volunteers to help bring the fire under control. The brush fire was approx 40x30 and was under control within 10 minutes of units arriving on scene.
