An early afternoon call for a motorcycle down on Hill Street, in the Mahopac Falls fire district, brought out Fire, EMS and Fire Police units, in addition to multiple Carmel Police units, a Putnam County Sheriff unit and paramedics from EMStar. First arriving Fire Police detoured traffic around the active scene. Triage of patients began as the police investigation got underway. Asst. Chief Jeff Boyle took Incident Command and Capt. Dan Meury took charge of Operations and Safety. With patients(with minor injuries) being loaded and heading for medical treatment, Fire Police let fire units clear the scene before opening up the road to traffic.
